...compromises

...had one of the toughest meeting on thursday...the issue of separation between college of business and graduate school of business...how both parties can complement each other (rather than competing) to help achieve the vision and mission of the university...it requires big compromises between the two parties...a bit of a sensitive issue...as both want to move forward...it is also hard to make people understand the fact that the criteria for TBS and RU is contradicted...hence requires a different business model...alhamdulillah tho the meeting was a bit tense sometimes...as we all agreed to say whatever we wanna say to solve the issue...it ended in a good faith...the next and bigger challenge is to convince the big boss...remember what Leo Moggie said "politic is about the management of compromises"...so i believe management is about the politic of compromises...so much to learn ha3
